Hi! My name is Emily. Welcome to my little sliver of the internet! I’m a christian homeschool graduate who loves her family! Being the middle child between two brothers is the best! I started this blog as a way to keep track of all of my crazy projects, ideas and life in general… a journal of sorts.:) I hope you will be inspired!

I loved being homeschooled! Why? I loved studying what interested me, being able to make blanket tents to eat ice cream in while doing math, reading books on top of a mountain of pillows or up in a tree, taking vacations while everyone else was still in school, and learning how to learn and not just answer questions. Besides, I had the best teachers ever!

I love all things crafty and creative! I love random DIY, drawing, photography, knitting, attempting to sew, dancing, dirt biking, video games, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Game nights are the best!!! I love movies! I like action movies the best, but I can’t stand most war movies. I also like musicals and good “girly” movies like Anne Of Green Gables. And I still love Disney princess movies! I think shopping at Goodwill is just the best and love a good bargain!

So why is this this blog called Strive31?

The number 31 is a reference to Proverbs 31, the passage that teaches us so much about how to be a godly woman.
