Yay! I finally got around to making this tutorial! Hope it makes sense!
Supplies:
- Old magazine you are willing to cut up
- Good scissors
- Glue stick (not bottle glue)
- Toothpick, q-tip, or other small object that you can roll something up on
- A ruler (optional)
A ruler is helpful in cutting the lines, or better yet you could use a scrapbook paper slicer.
First you will need to tear a page out of the magazine and cut the end off as shown and discard it:
Next cut along the lines as shown all the way to the end of your paper (discard the end piece):
Now take one of the triangles that you just cut, flip it wrong side up, and glue entire back (make sure you get the tip of the triangle really good):
Now take the toothpick (or other small object) and roll the paper up from bottom all the way to the top as shown (make sure the tip stays glued down):
Let dry for a few hours before using them in a project.
