Cooped Up Chickens

The poor chickens had to stay in their coop while airsoft pellets whizzed through the air. They were not too thrilled by this arrangement, but it beats getting shot!:]

Button Hat

I made this hat with Lion’s Brand Homespun yarn that a friend gave me. I was able to knit two hats with only the one skein, and I actually had some left after the second hat as well! This pattern was easy to follow and it knit up very quickly. Simon kept interrupting while I was taking photos of it, so I had him pose for me.:] He is too cute!

Pattern found Here, You have to scroll down quite a ways to find the hat pattern, it’s the “Start your needles hat challenge”.

Hair Band

Wow! I actually crochet something! Well it was really just a chain, but still crochet. This was really fast, fun and easy! And it matches my leggings! I got this pattern from Ravelry.com.

Simon’s Sweater

I got the idea for this from a pattern on Ravelry that is no longer available. I basically just knit a big rectangle with two little arm holes in it. It turned out pretty good, but the neck opening was a little big.:)

Smockings

Yay! Some legwarmers for dance! This is one of my patterns. I came up with the name by combining what they are (stockings) and the technique I used on them (smocking). Smockings!

Dropped Paprika Scarf

This only took one ball of  Premier Yarns Serenity Sock Weight! I had it left over from a different project and thought it would be perfect for this pattern. This is the first project that I have ever had to block. It still curls but is better than before blocking.

Red Sox Mitts

I made this pattern with a moss stitch and some ribbing. They are made from the same yarn as my blue cabled purse. I used some red embroidery floss on the cuffs. Go Red Sox!

The First Egg

We got our very first egg! Unfortunately there was a tragic accident. The egg did not want to stay on the refrigerator shelf that mommy put it on. Oh well…
