Purple “Drop” Hat

This is the same pattern as Martin’s Christmas hat. I used some of the same yarn that my dropped scarf is made of, thus the title. I think all of the other yarn I used was Caron Simply Soft. The pattern for it is found here.

Martin’s Hat

I made Martin a red beanie for Christmas, I love how it turned out! It was a very simple ribbed pattern and was knit flat on two needles. The pattern for the hat is found here.

Raindrop Cowl/Headband

Yay! I finally used my knitting machine again! I made this cowl/headband with some Caron Simply Soft on a size 3 key plate. It is stockinette with some dropped stitches. In binding off I dropped every fourth stitch or so. This made some nice stripes through the work, but they tend to pull apart a bit. Basically dropping the stitches just loosened up the work so it doesn’t curl so badly. I love adding buttons to my projects!
